Canucks Coaches and Staff Season 06/07

Dave Nonis
He is the Senior Vice President and General Manager. He bcame the 9th GM in the Canuck history.
Nonis is the youngest GM to be born in Vancouver.
He's a good GM and he has brought some great players to the Canucks.

Alain Vigneault
He is the 16th Head Coach for the Vancouver Caucks. He was the Head Coach of the Montreal Canadians from 1997- 01.
I think he will be great this 2006-07 season.

Final Thoughts

I think the 2006-07 season of the Vancouver Canucks will be asome because they have some freash new faces.

Good luck to the 2006-07 Vancouver Canucks.

Canucks Player Roster 06/07 Season and My Opinions Part 3

Mattius Ohlund

Defense/ #2
Vancouver’s first choice in the 1994 entry draft. Spends time working at Canuck Place and lives in Vancouver.
I think that he is one of the best players because of the goals he scores but I still feel he could score more this year.

Alexander Burrows
Left-winger / # 14
He has recently come from the AHL where he played for the Manitoba Moose. He was born in Pincourt, Quebec and is 25 years old.
I think he is a good, young, skilled player

Taylor Pyatt
Left-winger / # NA
Taylor Pyatt is a new player who played for Buffalo and the New York Islanders. He is also 25.
I think he will be around for the next five years because he has lots of experience.

Josh Green
Left-Winger/ # 36
Josh came to play for Vancouver last year and has been around the NHL for a long time. He is 29 years old and in 6’ 3”.
I think Josh will be kept by the team for a long time, because he has a few years ahead of him.

Canucks Player Roster 06/07 Season and My Opinions Part 2

Rory Fitzpatrick
Defensemen / # NA
He was signed by Vancouver as a free agent was signed on August 18th, 2006.
I think he’s going to be great this year, because he came from the Buffalo Sabers which is a great team.

Jan Bulis
Centre / # NA
He is signed as a free agent by Vancouver on July 25th 06.
He is great as a centre who sets up a lot of plays.

Yannick Tremblay
Defensemen / # NA
Signed as a free agent July 28th 2006.
He helps to body check which Canucks really need this year.

Marc Chouinard
Centre / #NA
Signed as a free agent July 20th 06.
He is a great player I think he will be the replacement Bertuzzi.

Brendan Morrison
Centre / #7
He was the New Jersey Devils 3rd draft pick, then he was traded to Vancouver for Denis Pederson. He has been with the Canucks for 9 years.
This year is going to be better because he had a few injuries last year.

Jason King
Rightwinger /#17
He is my favorite player, I think he will do his best this year.

Trevor Linden
Rightwinger / # 16
He was born on April 11th 1970 in Medicine Hat AB, Vanouver’s 1st choice Draft pick in 1988. He lives in Kitsilano, Vancouver. His boyhood idol was Lanny McDonald
In like Trevor because he has given me lots of memories.
I can remember in the year 1988 he played his very first game vs Calgary and in the 1994 Stanley Cup Run.

Canucks Player Roster 06/07 Season and My Opinions Part 1

The Canuck Players

Robert Luongo
Goaltender # 1

I think he’s going to be great this year and he can make our dreams come true.

He missed 37 games with a groin injury
I am glad he joined the Canucks

Willie Mitchell
Left /Defenseman # 8

I see a future in him for the 4 years to come.

Daniel Sedin
Leftwinger # 22
He came to the NHL in 1999 with his twin.
He has been in the NHL for 9 years. Him and Henrik we're both drafted because they're both identical Twins.

Henrik Sedin
Left/Centre #33
He came into the NHL with his brother, in 1999 and they were both drafted because they’re Identical twins.
Hank is my 3rd favorite player. It will be nice to meet him because I already met his brother before.

Matt Cooke
Leftwinger/Centre # 24
He came to the NHL in 1999-00. I can remember his 6th goal vs the Flames because it made them win the game.

Markus Naslund
Leftwinger/Centre #19
Naslund played for Pittsburgh, then he was traded to Vancouver.
I think he is one of the best players, and he’s back to try again after being out with injuries.

Sami Salo
Rightwinger / Defencemen # 6
He spent nine years in Ottawa then he was drafted and traded to Vancouver for
Peter Scheaefer.
I think he is going to be better than last year.
