The Goods: Looks good on the road

Last nights game was better than the last time these two teams met they beat the Canucks 3-2 that was an okay game.

I thoght the game was pretty well played because the Canucks' power play has been a lot better than the last couple of decades ago.

Right now the Canucks are looking so well on the road if they can keep it up all season long they could go deeper in playoffs this year,

They won a tight game 3-1 over the St. Louis Blues the next game will take place at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit at 4:30 pm

The Goods: Shuts the door on Oilers

Last nights game was very well played from the top line with twins and Alex Burrows who returned form injury and played very good.

The third line with Raffi Torres who scored three goals and Kevin Bieksa with three assists on both Torres's three goals.
Bieksa played very well with Raffi who has his first career hat trick as a Canuck I thought the game was very physical and hard hitting type of team.

The next two players who should be in the ring of hounor

I think the next two players who should fill the last two spots should be captain Kirk McLean and Trevor Linden because, they had been in the NHL for so long if that happens all of the Canucks fans will be off feet and cheering so very loud.

Canucks trade Darcy Hordichuk to the Florida Panther for Andrew Peters

I thought this trade was for the best Darcy Hordichuk because he was a great player since he came in 2007-08 and I will miss him I am going to miss his toughness he brought to this team.
Peters will be the best fit for the Canucks he will take over Hordichuk's role he brought to the table.

Canucks acquire Ryan Parent and Jonas Andersson for Shane O'Brien and Dan Gendur

Yesterday the Canucks traded Shane O'Brien and Dan Gendur, to the Nashville Predators for Ryan Parent and Jonas Andersson I think they will have the chance to make this team a Stanley Cup Champion team..

Canucks Places Shane O'Brien and Darcy Hordichuk on waivers

Last Weekend Shane O'Brien and Darcy Hordichuk had been put on waivers because they have to make some room on the
roster.
Also former Canuck Brendan Morrison had been been cut from the Canucks roster, I thought he had the best chance to back to the Canucks this year. Now he has put on waivers but once again he is back where he started from as a free agent.

Roberto Luongo hangs up the "C"

The Canucks ex-captain Roberto Luongo decided to give up the "C" I thought he did right thing because the start of last year's 2009-2010 season he was on a lot presure.

When I heard the news I thought to myself that was the best thing for him now we have to wait who is going to the next captain.

Thursday, August 26, 2010

Roberto Luongo is willing to give up the "C"

I wasn't that crazy about Roberto Luongo as the captain of the Vancouver Canucks since his 12 year exension. Because being a captain goaltender has a lot of presure on the goalie himself.

Now he is willing to give it up and his replacement should be Henrik Sedin as the new captain who led the Canucks with 112 points last season.

I think Henrik Sedin is the best choice as the Canucks new leader for the 2010-2011 season.

Canucks losses a big defenceman Willie Mithell to the LA Kings

Willie Mitchell made a dession that he would be signed by the Los Angeles Kings even thouh he loved playing in Vancouver.

In his first year as a Canuck he was the best defeceman we ever had in 2006-07 season.

In his last season he stoped playing on Januray 2010 after the Pittsburgh game he sufferd a maild conussion.

A few months later in the year he spoked out for the first time since, his injury and he got fined for speaking to the media I thought that was very selfish by the NHLPA.

If he was re-signed by the Canucks he gets another conussion his career could far from over.

Now the Canucks has a lot of cap space  for Arron Asham and Johnathan Checchooo, we get these guys the Vancouver Canucks could be in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Canucks Forward Raffi Torres

The Vancouver Canucks signed Raffi Torres from the Buffalo Sabres to help the Canucks with their power play penalty killing and scoring chances.

Torres will be on the 3rd line with former Columbus Blue Jackets teamate Manny Malhotra he is the best third liner the Canucks was looking for.

Raffi Torres will be the best fit for the Canucks this 2010-11 Season.

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Canucks Should Sign Arron Asham

I think the Vancouver Canucks should sign Arron Asham because he is a really good defenceman he brings a lot, of physical hard hitting scoring he would be a good fit on the Canucks.

Vancouver Canucks Celebreates 40 Years In The National Hockey League

I am so deepley proud with Vancouver Caanucks by celebrating 40 years in NHL they had come a long way. The past decades in Canucks history they had retried two jersey numbers like 12 and 16.

Now they will be retiring number 19 Markus Naslund his retirement ceremony will be a very emtional night for all hockey fans.

Once again I am so deepley proud with the Canucks they had came a long way to get where they are right now.

Canucks Signed Brother Bill Sweatt

The Vancouver Canucks signed Lee Sweatt's brother Bill Sweatt who joined the Canucks he will bring his bags of tricks.

The Canucks defenceman Willie Mitchell skated with UBC and he will be coming back to the NHL the other teams, are intrested in Willie like the LA Kings washington Capitlas and the Canucks.

After his injuries I thought his career is over but he is still young. Even though he is 33 years old I hope he will have another great season where ever he goes.

NHLPA regets the Ilya Kovalchuk deal with the Devils

The NHLPA decieds to turn down the Ilya Kovalchuk 17 years with the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils GM is very dissappointed with Gary Bettman and the NLPA for not excpting the long term deal for Kovalchuk, which is toltley not fair.

If I was Kovalchuk I would not except the offer from the New Jersey Devils I would say no I will not play hockey 17 years in the NHL.

Canucks re-signs Shane O'Brien Alexaandre Bolduc Tanner Glass and free agent Tyler Weiman

The Canucks announced yesterday they just resigned Shane O'Brien to a 1 year deal, also Alexandre Bolduc and Tanner Glass and added a free agent Tyler Weiman.
Canucks signed Weimaan to be the Manitoba Moose's starting goalie to bring up Cory Schneider to the Vancouver Canucks back goalie for Roberto Luongo next season.

What's Next for the Canucks

After along playoff run for the Vancouver Canucks but they have a few holes they have to fill.

This might the end for Pavol Demitra and Kevin Bieksa's career because they are under contract this year.

But Willie Mitchell might not be returning to the Canucks because had too many injuries, we hope he will come back next season.

Now the Canucks has to get ready for July the 1st the biggest month of the year to sign free agents.

The Battle for the Stanley Cup is on

I think the Vancouver Canucks has a good chance of winning the Stanley Cup this year because they have got the depth.

Right now the Canucks are a better team from the last 40 years since they came in league in 1970.

Their power play's has been rock solid and their penalty killing has been amazing, the Canucks had sprised us for next few years to come.

I think the way the Canucks has been playing lately, they have the best chance of winning the Stanley Cup and they also will have a spot on the map the teams that won the Cup from the last decades.

The Goods: Falls Short

Last night the goods falls short 4-2. Even tho the Canucks lost i still liked their chances in last night's game they were really good.
It's only 1 game now the Canucks are back home 2 for more games they could get their winning streak back and they going to do better on the power play's this time.
They turned the over the puck too much now the Canucks are going to put that behind them and come out stronger tomorrow night at 6:30 at GM Place.

Canucks are ready to take a 2-0 series lead

The Vancouver Canucks are ready to a 2-0 series lead. The Canucks has to stay out of the penalty box, they also have to play physical game like they did on game 1.

I would like to see the Canucks to score more goals on the power play, they have done well on the penalty kill and i would like to see them to do that again tonight.

Right now the Vancouver Canucks looks like a whole new team than last year, last summer they picked  up Mikael Samuelsson form Detroit and Christian Ehrhoff from San Jose. When they became a Vancouver Canuck Ehrhoff made the Canucks defence stronger than ever.

Samuelsson made the Canucks offence tougher  and stronger in the history of the Canucks offence, Canucks coach swiched the top line with Alex Burrows and Mikael Samuelsson on the top line with the Sedin's we will how it goes out for tonight's game.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

The Canucks avdances to the Western Conference Semifinals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Vancouver Canucks plays the Chicago Backhwaks once again.

I think the Canucks are going to beat the Blackhwaks this time in the second round. The Canucks has a better team this year, they are going to win this series.

I hope the Canucks are going to win the Stanley Cup this time because they a better and stonger team than last year.

CANUCKS ALL THE WAY

Canucks ties the series at 2-2

Last night the Canucks played their last game in Los Angeles, before heading home for game 5 in front of their home crowd.

The Canucks had a good start and they played well excpet for a few penalites but they were scored on two times.

In the second and third period the Canucks had the lead after Pavol Demitra's goal then they trailled by one goal, then Henrik Sedin gave the Canucks lead back and also Ryan Kesler scored on the empty cage and won the game on Alexnader Edler's 24th birthday it was good to get back in the series.

Monday, April 19, 2010

The Canucks lost game 2 to the LA Kings series tied 1-1.

They lost because Pavol Demitra was on the second line, with Kesler and Samuelsson. The Canucks should had stayed with Raymond Kesler and the Samuelsson, line and Demitra should with the Jannik Hansen and the Steve Beriner line the Canuxks does not need to be out coached by coach Vingeault any more.

Canucks Grading

I give Henrik Sedin a A plus for tying the game at 1-1.
I give Mikael Samuelsson a A pluse for taking the lead 2-1.
I give Christian Ehrhoff a A plus for tying the game at 3-3.
I give Kyle Wellwood a A plus for a goaal scoring in the shootout.
I give Alexandre Burrows for scoring a goal in the shootout.
i give Ryan Kesler for scoring a goal in the shootout.

Canucks Picks up one point in the shootout

I thought the Canucks played a good game last night. Even the Canucks lost in the shootout they Still played pretty well.

I liked how Canucks played they still have stuff to work on like setting two and ones, also setting breakways when they are on shorthanded.

I thought the shootout was pretty good but they got the point never give up and their is always hope.

The Sedin twins needs to score more goals. I hope they will win the rest of the games at home and make the playoffs.

Canucks are still called the come back kids

The Vancouvr Canucks trailed by two goals the past few games and they came back then the Canucks won the every game. Especailly the Columbus game in overtime by Christian Ehrhoff's goal.

The Canucks has played as a team so far except the Chicago game, if they keep it up the Canucks could go the way this year.

Canucks came back after traling by 2 goals

I thought the Canucks had a slow start in the first period, but Mason Raymond scored in the second period.

Then Pavol Demitra scored late in the third period and Kyle Wellwood had a good chance to win the game in overtime.

But they had to go to a shootout where Pavol Demitra scored the first goal to win it, then Roberto Luongo poke checks the puck away and wins it in the shootout.

Canucks finds Away To Win Games On The Road First Stop Toronto

I thought the Canucks had a slow start they we're down 3-0. Then the Canucks came and won 5-3.
Tonight the Canucks plays the Monreal Canadiens, the Canucks could get more wins on the road before the Olympic games starts and come baack home with a stronger win strike just before the playoffs starts.

Canucks Losse To Nashville

Last nights game with was very good. I thought it was like a playoff game, the players on the Canucks we're out played that's why they lost 3-2.

One player on the Canucks Alexandre Burrows scored two goals. Burrows had a great season with the Sedins.

But officating was so bad last night they called every call on the Canucks, which they should have not been called.

The referees think they have the power but they don't.

I liked the game because the green men made me laugh they also fire up the Canucks when they are on the power play.

I thought the Canucks penality killing was very sharp thanks to Willie Mitchell, Alexandre Burrows, Ryan Kesler, Kyle Wellwood and Tanner Glass.

If they keep it up the Canucks could go deeper in the playoffs this year.
The Vancouver Canucks played a very enteraining  back and forth hockey.

When Ryan Kesler scored the goal from his knees and I thought, to myself Kesler just did the Alexander Ovieckin move from his knees I went wow that shows a lot of skill.

Then Mason Raymond tied the score at two. In the third period the Canucks were on a power play Raymond scored to take lead.

Finally on a penality shot Alexander Smein and Roberto Luongo made the save of the game thank God they won, now the Canucks winning strike continues.
